SmartMonkey is now Routal

SmartMonkey changed its name to Routal. We are the same company, with the same team and the same platform. If you got here from an old link, you are in the right place.

What changed and what did not

The name changed. The platform has been called Routal since 2023, and the company became Routal Tech S.L. in July 2024. The smartmonkey.io domain redirects to routal.com.

Nothing else changed. Same company, incorporated in Barcelona on 24 July 2015, same team, same customers and same accounts. Anyone who had access to SmartMonkey still has it in Routal with the same credentials.

What Routal is

Routal is a delivery management platform for last-mile operations with owned or subcontracted fleets. Plan, dispatch, track, prove, and report deliveries in one system, so the operation does not depend on a single person. Route optimization is one capability within the platform.

Two products: Routal Planner, the web platform for whoever plans and dispatches, and Routal Drivers, the app for whoever delivers.

Are SmartMonkey and Routal the same company?
Yes. Routal Tech S.L. is the same company incorporated in Barcelona on 24 July 2015 under the name SmartMonkey Scalable Computing S.L. Only the name changed, in July 2024.
Why did you change the name?
Because SmartMonkey did not say what we do. Routal names the product: managing the deliveries of a last-mile operation from end to end.
I have a SmartMonkey account. Does it still work?
Yes. Accounts, data and integrations are the same. Sign in at app.routal.com with your usual credentials.
Are the integrations and the API still the same?
Yes. Documentation is at developers.routal.com. If your integration points to an old domain, write to support@routal.com and we will help you migrate it.
